New Roof Installation in Hyde – New Tiles, Felt, Battens & Dry Ridge System
Manchester Roofs recently completed this new roof installation in Hyde, replacing the existing ageing roof with a complete new roofing system designed to provide reliable long-term protection for the property.

New Dry Ridge System
The new roof was finished with a modern dry ridge system.
Unlike traditional ridge tiles that rely solely on mortar, a dry ridge system mechanically fixes the ridge tiles in position while still allowing appropriate ventilation beneath the ridge. This provides a secure, low-maintenance finish and removes the problem of ageing ridge mortar cracking or becoming loose over time.
The finished ridge line can be seen clearly in the completed project photos, giving the roof a neat and consistent appearance.
A Fresh New Roof for the Property
The completed roof has transformed the appearance of the property, replacing the heavily weathered existing tiles with a clean new grey tiled finish.
